Services Information Payment Terms A quick summary of the terms is as follows:
For services rendered we will typically send invoices weekly and ask that they be paid within 10 days. For established companies no retainer is needed, but for a new companies a retainer of 10% is kindly requested. For a precisely defined project, we may be able to provide a fixed price and accept an irrevocable LoC for part or all of the payment. Payments may be made in Canadian or US Dollars, Euros, or Pounds Sternling by bank wire transfer. Please tell us which you prefer and we will remit invoices in that currency. Building and StagingIf ISP Ltd. is hired for the project of building your ISP network hardware, it is least complicated and usually least expensive if the client purchases the raw materials directly and the network is built on-site in your country. If you prefer, we can build and stage the network in Canada, although there will be facility and raw materials costs that will need to be paid prior to the start of the project. In either case, the first step is to create a thorough project plan. You may hire us to do this either partially or complete, or you may prefer to provide a complete project plan created by someone else. If ISP Ltd. prepares the project plan, the payment for this work is due upon completion but prior to delivery of the plan. Projects staged at your locationWe can come to your location and build the network on-site. This avoids the complexity of staging, crating, shipping, and export documentation, which can save a significant amount on the total project cost. Projects staged in CanadaIf you would like us to build and stage1 your network in Canada, we will draft an Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) to have the operational goals of the completed network clearly defined and decide on how many of your technicians will participate in the assembly as part of their training. A suitable facility for this project will be prepared with a power feed of the same type as is used in your country and a backbone connection that will approximate the kind you will be using (e.g., for VSAT backbone connections we will restrict the speed and introduce latency to approximate a satellite connection). Once the network is completed and the ATP accepted, the network will be crated and exported to its final destination. If we are to be involved with the implementation project as well, then we will make plans to arrive in your country shortly after the network is expected to clear customs. |
