If you want a complete project plan for your ISP network in writing that can be incorporated in your business plan, we have experience writing just such a document. Your project plan is a roadmap covering conception through implementation of your ISP. Starting with a summary from you of your plans and objectives, we will describe the equipment and services that will meet those goals. You can view a sample of a proposal outline here.

The cost of your project plan depends on how much work you need done since you will only pay for the hours of consultation you use. For clients who prefer a fixed cost for the planning phase, we will normally set this at the maximum estimate range for a given planning service (below), but may vary depending on your particular situation so please contact us with your requirements.

Basic ISP project proposal

Choose this plan if you are in the early planning phases and do not yet need cost and revenue projections nor schedule estimates.

The scope of this plan includes the server network specifications and equipment cost estimates.

The scope of services are consultation, research, project plan writing, and electronic delivery in PDF format. The project plan can also be provided in printed form at additional cost, if desired.

Completed typically within a week.

Likely cost: €200 to €600 / $300 to $900

Detailed ISP project proposal

Choose this plan if you have nearly completed your buiness plan and are quite certain you will be going forward with starting your ISP.

The scope of this plan includes the server network specifications, equipment cost estimates, backbone research for your area, preparation of revenue projections, and an Internet services & revenue projections spreadsheet.

The scope of services provided are consultation, research, collaboration wiki, project plan writing, and electronic delivery in PDF format. The document will also be provided in printed form, if desired.

Completion time is typically one to three months, but more time could be required depending on your situation.

Likely cost: €650 to €2500 / $1000 to $4000

Detailed ISP project proposal with implementation plan

Choose this option if you want a 100 percent complete and thorough implementation plan to the highest level of detail.

The scope of this plan includes the server network specifications, equipment costs from multiple vendors (to mitigate scheduling risks), research and recommendations for multiple backbone vendors, preparation of revenue projections, Internet services & revenue projections spreadsheet, acceptance testing plans, training plans, project-wide risk definition and mitigation, project team planning, resources assessment, etc.

The scope of services provided are consultation, research, collaboration wiki, project plan writing, and electronic delivery in PDF format. Delivery of the plan in printed form is also provided, if desired.

Completion time varies significantly based on each client's needs; for a large (Metropolitan-size) network with a complex array of service offerings it may take one to two years to complete, whereas a Community-sized ISP with more limited service offerings may require just a few months to complete.
