The year started with the shipment of our largest system to date: a 13-server 4-rack Metropolitan HC designed to serve 100,000 people in Lagos, Nigeria using a combination of dial-up, DSL, and wireless access.
The second project of the year was a third generation Neighbourhood ISP that is due to begin serving customers in Algeria in January 2005.

The second-generation Neighbourhood system is shipped to Umuahia, Nigeria.
The first Metropolitan HC is contracted for installation in Africa. A large project, entailing years of work, for an ISP that is poised to significantly enhance communications in Africa.

ISP Ltd. moves to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada - "the most wired nation in the world" and the founder's home country. This allows ISP Ltd. to do better R&D, provide better service, and to trim the company back down to a very small and efficient size.
Wireless ISP installed in Telluride, Colorado. A town that had no wireless ISPs suddenly has four: we are the second, and a third is on our heels. We are faced with many interference issues and design changes during installation. The decision is made to move away from 2.4GHz LOS toward NLOS.
Following the installation of a sub-Community ISP in Telluride, Colorado and prompted by the Canadian Rural Broadband Initiative, the Neighbourhood ISP package is announced.

Software development, publishing, and consulting continue as before, and a retail computer store/repair shop are added to our computer businesses.

 |
Several business software packages have been extensively developed for internal and client use.
So the idea to publish software is born, starting with a mailing list management package (one of the first to print USPS bar codes) and a vehicle maintenance history tracking & reporting package.
The new business is called Organic Computer Wizardry, a rather whimsical name, I suppose to balance out the serious-sounding names of the first two businesses.
